This system provides file, print, and email services. It provides the following features:
- File storage using mirrored drives to protect against drive failure
- Tape drive to provide backups of data
- The ability to share files between systems including Windows, Macintosh, Novell and UNIX/Linux
- The ability to share all connected printers between systems
- Internet and intranet (inter-office) email with anti-virus protection
- Centralized user accounts for security and ease of administration
- Remote server administration and updates (with Service Agreement)
- Remote server monitoring (with Service Agreement)
- Optional: Web-based email access from outside the office
- Optional: Intranet Web Site with shared contact list and shared calendaring system
Server monitoring and remote administration requires Internet access preferably.
